Berkshire Park feedback

Hi all - sorry it's been awhile that I last posted on here. My consulting job is sooo busy that I've slacked on here for awhile. I'll try and post more often on here.

So we met a few more neighbors around the community the past couple of months. We have an awesome community with a great mix of people. If you've just moved in the community, welcome!!

If you've been in your house for a few months, what's your feelings on your house? Do you like it? Anything you would do different? What's your major issues? I've heard all kinds of issues / problems - water problems, heating issues, crazy mortgage rate locks, etc. I know we had a roofing issue but it was quickly fixed by the roofing company.

What's your thoughts on the entrance for Berkshire Park (across from Riverton Golf course) being closed after 5pm and on weekends? We think it really stinks. I understand why they had to do it but I don't really see the entrance / exit being a huge issue. That's just my 2 cents.

All moved in...

Hi all - I hope you're doing well. It's been an extremely busy time for Jen and I. We're finally all moved into the house. The house is really looking good.

We're meeting many of our great neighbors. Everybody has been very friendly thus far. We're both looking forward to living here for many years to come.

A great community...

Hi all, sorry its been so long since I last posted. I will try and make this blog a priority.
Jen and I were very impressed by the community yesterday. We're not in the house yet, but we decided to walk with Jade around the community. Almost everybody is very friendly and out-going. We can't wait to move into the house. Hopefully the next 3 weeks or so.

Hi all - I hope you had a great weekend! Jen and I were talking this weekend and it would be really cool to find out where the Berkshire Park community is coming from? Feel free to post back here or on the forums page. I know a few people are coming from NYC and I've heard another family is moving here from NC.

Jen and I both from Rochester, NY. I lived in Pittsford for the past 6 years. We're both really looking forward to moving into this wonderful community.

Another question for the community, do we have any fishing fans out there? Let me know.

Various updates...

Hi all - Well the website is really coming along. I'm amazed by the feedback thus far. We have to come up with a good way for you guys to find out the website and we're still working on that. I've heard back from some companies already and should be posting more information regarding those companies soon.

I hope you enjoy the site thus far. I posted on the site, some good information that I received from the Town of Henrietta regarding the new park. It sounds like there will only be alittle work done this fall and the rest will be done Spring 08. Jen and I are looking forward to the park as I'm sure many of you are. Anybody have any cool ideas as far as a community activities that we can have at the park? Post them here and / or in the forums area.

If you would like to help out with this website, please email me and let me know. I'd like to have various people blog on here and help out with other areas too. It will make the website much more dynamic and interesting. So please email and let me know.

Would anybody be intersted in having a community type block party this year or next? Let us know.

Hello and welcome to our first posting. For the first blog, I will just tell you alittle bit about ourselves....

Hello and thanks for reading! I wanted to introduce myself and my finance', Jen. We just got engaged in May and we're really excited to be starting the next phase of our lives in the Berkshire Park Community.

Jen works as a Marketing Coordinator for Clover Capital and I am self employed as an IT Consultant.

We will be closing on our house sometime in August... and we can't wait.

We look forward to meeting you all and learning more about our neighbors and community.
